Lisa’s Class Room 2-408
Did you ever have a best friend that was so special that you didn’t want them to play with anyone else? In this book, The Worst Best Friend, by Alexis O’Neill, there are two best friends. One day, Victor comes along and its not “Conrad and Mike” anymore. It’s “Conrad and Victor!” Victor bragged and bragged. He showed off his stuff and made people jealous. I don’t think that’s right.
When I read the book, The Worst Best Friend, I saw a connection. One day I had a fight with my friend, and my friend and I were not playing together just like Conrad and Mike. When that happens, I think it is a good book to read because when you get in a fight, you can make-up in one day. So the next day, you are playing together and you’re not fighting anymore. I think Victor was splitting Conrad and Mike up even more because that afternoon Mike zoomed from the room. He hit the playground, zip, zap, zup. “Hey who wants to play?” Mike called with the football in his hand. Victor yelled, “I’m captain of the red team. Who wants to win?” I didn’t think that was right to say, “Who wants to win?” Now Conrad learned not to be someone’s friend just because you like their stuff.
