Lisa’s Class Room 2-408
In Odd Velvet, by Mary E. Whitcomb, Velvet has NO friends. And she doesn’t care. No one wants to be her friend because she’s odd and that’s weird. And she has lots of rocks and brings weird stuff to school. If I was her, I would not be her friend because she’s odd and the kids tease her a lot. (She also brings in weird stuff.) And the other kids would bring in dolls. She would play by herself. And the other kids would play by themselves. And the kids ask if she had a nickname. And she drew the best picture in the class. Look at it and said OOOOOOH!
Velvet was having a birthday party. And she was going inviting everyone to her birthday party which she was thinking. And it came to her birthday everyone came and Velvet painted their faces and they had a great time there. The kids had a great time there. They all played with Velvet and loved it a lot. When they went to school Velvet made friends. I was happy for Velvet. And in the beginning she didn’t have any friends and now she does. First she was odd. Now she made friends she feels happy.
